Dear Students,
I have set up a Teams account for all of my classes. All assignments and resources are located here as well. It is also a free app you can put on your phone/tablet and you can always access it free on the computer with your school log-in. Your first assignment on Teams will count for 10 extra credit points!! Spread the word! I'd love for more of our classes to get connected.

Week of 10/21/19
We are working on completing an essay this week on how land and religion have caused, and continue to cause, conflict in SW Asia. We are focusing specifically on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Sunni-Shi'a division, and the Kurdish Nationalist Movement. Students are to tell about each area and whether it is a land conflict or religious conflict. Papers on due Friday, 10/25/19. We will start learning about the U.S. Presence in the Middle East next week.

--I hope everyone had a great week! We will be finishing up Unit 2 (SW Asia Geography) this week.
--Students were given an opportunity to make test corrections over the last graded assessment (ethnic groups and religious groups). --The test from 09/20 will be given to students on Monday to be able to use to review for the unit assessment. --Many students still have missing work and it is hurting their grades badly. Please hand in all missing work as soon as possible! The quarter ends on October 11 and I won't be able to accept missing work after that date. Monday-- Learning Target: Students will review Unit 2 information to prepare for end-of-unit assessment.
